SINCERE THANKS

I would like to thank all of those who helped with our Vacation Bible School.  We had several people who helped with the children and made this a truly special event.  We also had several young people who assisted as group leaders.  We hope to have a list of all those who contributed in next week’s bulletin.

 

HOSPITAL…….. Due to the privacy act, hospitals no longer provide a list of patients for our use as clergy.  Accordingly, I need your assistance.  Please call the parish office when you have a family member, a friend, or relative hospitalized so that I may visit with them and pray with them.   –Fr. FAMILY LIFE CENTER

Our parish Family Life Center (formerly Parish Hall) is coming along beautifully and is ahead of schedule.  When this building is comnpleted, it is going to add tremendously to our Catholic family life at St. Peter’s.  Please stop by after the weekend mass, as some of you already have done, and see the progress.

  50^TH                   blessing on them now and many more years.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY

There will not be any Women’s Bible Study this week.  It will resume on July2nd.

 

CHRISTIAN SINGLES FELLOWSHIP DAY

The 6^th Annual Christian Singles Fellowship Day is being sponsored by the Diocese of Alexandria on Saturday, July 15, 2006 from 12 noon to 8:15 p.m. at Maryhill Renewal Center in Pineville, Louisiana.  Speakers, supper, Mass, fellowship, and fun fill the day.  Never married, divorced, separated or widowed persons of any age are welcome.  For info or to register, call (318)445-2401, ext. 225.  Cost is $18 if registered before July 7^th, $21 after July 7^th.  Additional cost if you wish to spend Saturday night at Maryhill.

 

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

Knights of Columbus 3^rd  Degree meet every 2^nd and 4^th Sunday after coffee and doughnuts.  4^th Degree Knights meet every 3^rd Sunday.

LADIES AUXILIARY

The Ladies Auxiliary has religious articles for sale.  They will be available after mass, in the CAB.  If you are interested in purchasing some, you may contact Rosa Buzzarde for more information.
